Theme: The rainy season
Topic: The later rain
Text: Deuteronomy 11: 13-14; Act 2 :1-21

*unless otherwise indicated, all verses in this text are drawn from New King James Version (NKJV)

Before the Lord showers a person with blessing he first prepares them spiritually. Before Jehovah blesses you, beloved, He will send an early rain to prepare you for what is to come. That early rain will test and at the same time strengthen your faith so that you may be able to manage the elevation that will come with the later rain.

Back in the days of the Old Testament, farmers in Israel used early rains as markers that the rainy season had started. After the fall of these early rains, they knew that the time to sow had come. They would then proceed by planting the seed into the ground. This early rains came to fertilize the soil and prepare it. Then, later rains would descend to help the seeds spring into fruitful plants.

The soil represents us, the creatures of God as the Scriptures teach us in the book of Genesis that we, humans, are made out of dust. In our today’s text of Deuteronomy the Lord promises to send the early rain and the later rain to those who obey Him. The early rain comes to fertilize the soil, to ready it so it may receive the seed. Brother, sister, if things aren’t working well for you it is because you are experiencing the early rain. This rain is the call of God, it comes to prepare you. Do not take this period of hardship as a sign that God has forsaken you but rather as a sign that you have the seed in you. The seed in you needs this early rain so it may decompose. This process is important for the development of the seed into a plant.

All you need to do during the time of the early rains is to refrain from giving in to temptation. Beloved, when faced with hardships that come during the early rains, you will be tempted to displease and disobey your Lord but don’t, stay put and persevere for it is only the seed in you decomposing so it may later spring forth. As the seed decomposes, it looses it first shell. This first shell represents the relationships, positions and perks you had before the call of God, you will have to loose all that for Jesus. And like the apostles who left their lives to follow the Christ, you will rise with him in Glory.

Let me open a small parenthesis here by deploring the fact that nowadays people come to church to seek for physical blessings only and do not have any interest in obeying the words of God. It should be the opposite. Such people can never be blessed for as they stand still and wait for God to bless them, our Lord, on his side, is also standing stills and waiting for them to repent from their wicked ways. So in order to be blessed, we have to make the first step, and that is to go back in God’s ways.

During the falling of the early rains in their lives, apostles gave up on every thing and followed Jesus because they had the seed in then. Then came the later rain, on the day of Pentecost. Beloved, your acceptance of the words of God shows that you have the seed in you. If you persevere, the Lord will send down on you the later rain. The later rain comes to bring elevation, to remove stigma and shame that has been all over you.

The Bible says that after the later rain has come down we will be able to gather in our grain, our new wine, and our oil. Just like, in the days of Joseph, people came from far afield to seek for grain in Egypt; your blessings from the later rain will attract toward you people from all walks of life. The new whine is pleasant to all who drink it, in the same way; the later rain will make you loved by all, even by those who shunned you. Like oil, the blessings you will receive from the later rain will never decay or rust and no one will ever be able to contain that blessing. Alleluia!!!

So, brother, sister, if you have gone out of the ways of God, this is the time to come back because you will loose the blessings meant for you. If you have received these words, I prophesy to you that the month of may will not end until you are showered with blessings. The later rain will descend upon you and will grow the seed of marriage, of success, of happiness…in your life. Glory be to the God of The Glorious Church

Theme: New Spirit for New Season
Topic: Fullness
Text: John 2: 1-10

*unless otherwise indicated, all verses in this text are drawn from New King James Version (NKJV)

The New Spirit has the potential to bring back consideration in the eyes of those who used to mock us. Once we are filled with the New Spirit, we shall not be neglected anymore. Those who rejected us will be the first one to testify about us. Likewise when filled by the New Spirit we should not neglect anyone because we will never know whom the Lord has set as the key to our New Season.

The first miracle the Christ performed on His journey on earth proved what is said in the introduction to be true. As customary in Cana back in those days, 12 jars in total were used at the wedding feast that Jesus, His disciples and His mother attended. Six jars were placed inside the feast hall and served to keep the wine and six other jars were placed on the outside and served to keep water used for purification. In other words the six outside jars were neglected and contained defiled water as guests washed hands, feet and mouth with that water. But when they ran out of wine and it pleased Jesus to miraculously provide more wine He asked for the neglected jars to be brought in so He could fill them with the finest wine.

Beloved, your case may be in a way similar to that of the neglected jars. You have always been seen as a person of no importance in your community, family or church. You have always been a subject of mockery in your neighborhood. If you live a life of humiliation today’s message is yours. Beloved, Jesus is about to perform a miracle in your life that will turn all your mockers into your admirers. My message to you who is that the Christ is about to elevate you and like the neglected jars, your place will no more be outside but inside the hall, a place of glory and honor. If you believe that say Amen!!!

But all these wonderful changes in our lives can only come to pass once we have received the fullness of the New Spirit. The New Spirit is a spirit of positivity, a spirit of perfection. The New Spirit is the spirit that led Caleb in the Promised Land, this New Spirit will make us achieve the impossible. Alleluia!!! This New Spirit will also make us understand that we should not neglect anybody because the one we may come to neglect may turn out to be the bearer of our key to the New Season.

The Lord is about to elevate somebody today and that person is you reading this. The master of the feast tested the liquid in the jars to make sure it was wine because he couldn’t believe that these neglected jars could one day hold the finest wine. Beloved, the time has come for people who have for long neglected you to taste your success. The time has come for you not to boast about your skills anymore but for your enemies to praise the lord for your achievements. After having tested the wine, the master of the feast said in awe to the bridegroom “You have kept the good wine until now!” When Jehovah will reveal you to the world people will also wonder where you have been hidden until now. Glory be to the God of The Glorious Church.

Theme: New Spirit for New Season
Topic: The New spirit will lead us into the New Season
Text: Number 14: 22-24

*unless otherwise indicated, all verses in this text are drawn from New King James Version (NKJV)

To enter the New Season is our right and inheritance, but in order to get into it we need to receive the New Spirit. No matter how smart, strong or capable we are we can only get access to the New Season after receiving the New Spirit. Even the Grace of Gold alone isn’t enough to take us into the New Season. Above His Grace we need His New Spirit.

One of the best instances of the powerful work of the New Spirit recorded in the Scriptures is found in the story of Caleb. That is why we have centered our teaching on the New Spirit on the text of Ezekiel. The Lord freed Israelites from Egypt so that they may live their season of blessings in the land of Canaan. But because of instability they couldn’t enter the Promised Land. While on the outskirt of Canaan, the Israelites sent spies into it. What the spies returned as feedback was news of fearsome Giants inhabiting the land. This dissuaded the leaders of Israel; they were filled with fear, all but Caleb.

What made Caleb different is the spirit of positivity he had in him. Truly in man it is the spirit. Also, Caleb had faith in God, a faith based on the miracles Jehovah had operated for them since their release from Egypt. The other leaders forgot that the Lord divide the sea so they may cross without a single drop of water touching them. They forgot that Jehovah drowned an entire army of the mighty Egyptian who were chasing them.
Today we can liken the Promised Land to the New Season. The New Season is the time of the visitation of God in our lives, a time of miracles in our marriage, finances, health…We can only enter this season after receiving the New Spirit and placing our faith in the Lord. Again, like the spies in the time of Caleb, today many people in our environment are good at making us hopeless by constantly repeating to us that we will never succeed, that it is over for us and that nothing we will do can change that. Yes, maybe nothing we’ll do can change that but our God can send upon us His New Spirit that will change our lives for ever. Alleluia!!!

In the Scriptures, there are many others instances of the wonders accomplished though this New Spirit. Mary, the mother of Jesus, she found grace in the eyes of God but that wasn’t enough. She had to be overshadowed by the New Spirit. (Luke 1-32-35). And the wonder was the supernatural birth of the greatest man that ever set foot on earth, the Christ Jesus. Another instance of the might of New Spirit is found in Zach 4: 6-7. Zerubbabel , his name meant the one who takes away confusion. But he became confused himself when faced with the challenge of rebuilding the new temple, the task of removing the mound of debris was above his abilities. He needed the New Spirit. So I declare today that the mountain of bareness, poverty, misery illness that you face will be overcome with the help of the New Spirit.

Beloved, truly no one can help you but our God in heaven. This God has done things in the past for us and today He will do it again. Today the Church needs men and women like Caleb, men and women who won’t be swayed by the negative reports we receive every day from the News, reports of a world descending into a chaos. Beloved, things may look bad today, but the Scriptures say there is a time for every thing, there is a time to weep with challenges but there is also a time to laugh. You may be weeping now because of suffering, but your redeemer is alive and has seen your tears. When He’ll rise your tears will be wiped off. Alleluia!!! All we need is the New Spirit of God. No matter how long suffering will take, inside us the Spirit will speak that change will come. Not by our strength but by the faith in God. Glory be to the God of The Glorious Church.

Theme: New Spirit for New Season
Topic: The New spirit will lead us into the New Season
Text: Number 14: 22-24; Number 13:17-10

*unless otherwise indicated, all verses in this text are drawn from New King James Version (NKJV)

In a New Season we need a New Spirit to experience the goodness of God. The New Spirit is a positive and optimistic mindset. Before the Lord blesses us he will bless us with a new spirit. This spirit of positivity and obedience will help us overcome our challenges before we even face them.

For every challenge a new strategy is needed. For every miracle Jesus used different gestures. Our Lord adapts anointing to its time and situations. The book of Isaiah names the 7 spirits of the Lord that work according to cycles of 7 good seasons and 7 bad seasons. In their conquest of the Promised Land, the tribes of Israel used different strategies against different enemies. Likewise we need a New Spirit in order to enter our New Season.

In our text of the book of Numbers, God refused entry to the Promised Land to all the leaders of Israel but Caleb. Jehovah permitted Caleb to inherit the land because he had different spirit. Caleb was a leader of a kind different from others. Caleb had a spirit of positivity, he fully trusted in the Lord and above all he was obedient to the commands of the Lord. And this led Jehovah Himself, from His own mouth, to call Caleb His servant. Even Joshua never had that privilege!

Beloved, if you wish to ever see you New Season, you need to have a spirit like that of Caleb. In order to enter your season you need to fully place you trust in God no matter the challenges you might face. Beloved when facing challenges, no matter how tough they are, you have to remember of one thing God did for you, you need to remember how your God has taken care of you since your birth. If He could do these things when you were small, how much can He do now that you have reached this age.

And like Caleb, we need to fully obey God’s command if we wish to see our season. And like Caleb we will be called servants of God. A servant of God isn’t a priest, evangelist, prophet or pastor only. Caleb was none of this. A servant of God is he who listens, obeys and executes God’s order. Many among Christians only listen to the words of God but do not put them into practice.

Only true servant of God will see their New Season. The Lord says His servant will be exalted. By becoming true servant of Jehovah we will receive from God the New Spirit, this New Spirit that will make us achieve the impossible. Alleluia!!! All great people of the Bible: Samson, David, Saul; received the Spirit of God upon them prior to their elevation. And like them I prophecy to you Beloved that 2015 is the year you will receive the New Spirit that will help you get into your season of elevation. Glory be to the God of the Glorious Church

Theme: New Spirit for New Season
Topic: Earnest prayer is the key to the New Season
Text: Number 14: 22-26; James 5: 15

*unless otherwise indicated, all verses in this text are drawn from New King James Version (NKJV)

The new season is only for those who have the spirit of the season. We need to have the spirit of the season in order to accommodate ourselves in the new season. This new spirit consists in doing things with the aim to impress God and praying according to His will. The latter is what we call earnest prayer.

In the text of Number 14, the Lord deprived those who have not heeded His voice of the privilege of seeing the Promised Land. But about Caleb the Lord said, “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.” Caleb was allowed access to the Promised Land because he had a different spirit. Think of the Promised Land as the New Season. We can only enter into the new season if we have a different spirit i.e. if we do thinks according to the will of God.

Among things that should be done according to God’s will is prayer. An earnest prayer is a prayer made according to God’s will. That explains why the first characteristic of earnest prayers is that they are answered by God. The eyes of the Lord are set on earth seeking for those making earnest prayers.

An earnest prayer is not a prayer made by regularly going to church or while shedding tears. An earnest prayer is a prayer made while obeying the words of God. Beloved, your prayers can never be answered if you behave in a way that doesn’t honour God. Also, an earnest prayer is a prayer made while patiently waiting for God to answer; For if you are not patient in prayer you will become a patient of physicians.

An earnest prayer is so powerful it can make us achieve the unthinkable. The Israelites were grasshopper compared to the dwellers of Canaan who were giants, Caleb knew it and so he resorted to prayer in order to conquer the land of the enemy. Beloved, you may fail to meet all criteria needed to succeed, but through prayer Jehovah will make you capable to succeed. James, the half brother of Jesus, says this about prayer: “the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven (James 5: 15).” Beloved, Prayer will make you not back off from challenges. It will take you where nothing else could. Alleluia!!!

Prayer is the key to enter the new season. But a prayer can only be effective when it made earnestly. An earnest prayer can never prove itself to be useless. An earnest prayer doesn’t take into account distance, location or position. All that matters is our behavior to honor the Lord and us to obeye His will.

Message of Sunday 11 January 2015

By Pst Sebastien Muanza

Text:  Ecclesiastes 3:1

*unless otherwise indicated, all verses in this text are drawn from New King James Version (NKJV)

To every one of us the Lord has assigned a mission. The time of  fulfillment of that mission will be the period of one’s Glory. The  fulfillment of that period or season, the Kairos, is only known by God.  It may span from a period of few days to many years but it will surely  happen. Still, in order to fully benefit from that Kairos, we need to be ready.

In Ecclesiastes 3:1 The Scriptures say “To everything  there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven”. The word  “Time” in this sentence is translated from the Greek “Kairos”. Kairos  surely means time but not time in the conventional way. The notion of  time is herein taken more in its qualitative than its quantitative  sense. It is the time God decides to visit and to make a person serve  the purpose for which she or he has been created.

The fact that  we have been born and are still alive means that we have been assigned  to a determined mission that we haven’t fulfilled as yet. Otherwise we  would have been dead by now or even not been born at all. Just think of  all these fetuses that didn’t make it to this world!

Beloved, it is for a purpose you are alive until 2015. You have a mission and that  mission is to impact the life of many. You can never die before that  time come to pass. And today I’ve come to reveal to you that your time,  your Kairos, is about to come. The time for God to make you a role model for many and a symbol of his Glory is about to come. Alleluia!!!

I believe you are so ecstatic and excited at the thought of receiving  the Glory of God but here’s the million dollar question: When this time, the Kairos, comes, will you be ready??? Here are 3 things you need to  know in order to be ready for your Kairos :

1) When that time  is near God will send you signs. These signs will be for you to prepare  yourself. To be ready is to rid yourself of all sins. God never bless  where sin dwells.

2) You need to have the intelligence of God’s  time. What will you do when God visit you? Will you become proud like  many do? Beloved, know that God can only bless you when He foresees his  own benefit in it. If God doesn’t have his part in your blessings He  will withdraw them. Your hands must receive and give.

3) In  alignment with point 2, you need to have a strategy to make God pleased  with the blessings he has poured on you. Never separate yourself with  that source of blessings which is the God. That is how you will keep His blessings pouring in your life. Also read the word of God so you can  maintain a good relationship with Him.

My brethren, my sister  2015 is your year, your Kairos, the time for God to visit you, the time  of your elevation, the time of your glory. All you need to do is to  follow my 3 advices… He who has ears to hear, let him hear! Glory be to  God.
